We are pleased to announce that Jeanne McDonald will be a panelist on a real estate law seminar provided by Lorman Education Services on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, entitled “Real Estate Development from Beginning to End.” In addition to benefitting anyone involved with homeowners associations, this seminar is geared to assist attorneys, presidents, vice presidents, owners, lending professionals, project managers, real estate agents and brokers, business owners and managers, zoning board members, contractors, surveyors, architects, engineers, developers, planners, controllers, CFOs and accountants.
The one-day seminar will cover updates on all aspects of real estate development, including subdivision and environmental issues. Jeanne McDonald will address issues concerning community associations, including governing documents, community association formation and powers, corporate structure for community associations, board meetings and voting, membership meetings and voting, maintaining financial records, and collecting assessments.
