HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION LAW & MANAGEMENT SEMINAR
WESTSIDE EXTENSION
Over the course of two Saturday mornings, July 22 and July 29, 2006, the Westside Extension program at West Los Angeles College in Culver City will present a course entitled “Homeowners Association Law and Management.” This course will benefit owners, Board members, managers, professionals, and anyone else involved with homeowners associations. Course objectives are to examine the legal and practical aspects of homeowners association ownership and management. This course is designed to help large and small associations alike run efficiently and comply with applicable laws. You will receive an extensive course manual and five hours of information, including:
- Maintenance & repair responsibility
- Policies & procedures for running an association
- Enforcing rules
- Collecting assessments
- Meetings, voting, ballots & proxies
- Directors’ responsibilities & fiduciary duties
- Reserves
- Ballots, proxies and voting
- Inspecting records & member lists
- And much more!
COURSE INSTRUCTOR: Jeanne H. McDonald graduated from Whittier College School of Law and is a practicing attorney with 14 years experience in all aspects of representing homeowners associations.
MCLE credit is available for this class.
